Check out this great article about Campuswide Community Challenge in The Prince!!
Campuswide Community Challenge is the brainchild of Austin Hollimon ’12 and the USG Community Service Committee in collaboration with USG Vice President Catherine Ettman ’13 and staff and student leaders at the Pace Center for Civic Engagement. Inspired by GW’s efforts, Austin envisioned a campus-wide initiative to encourage civic engagement in the spirit of our motto: “Princeton in the nation's service and in the service of all nations.” The USG Community Service Committee, led by chair Alex Gecker '12, has worked with Austin and other leaders on campus to create an initiative that encourages students to integrate service into their daily lives.
The USG Community Service Committee is proud to partner with Ethix Merch, which made our fairly traded Alta Gracia tshirt giveaways possible! Ethix Merch: Ethical Merchandise for your group or organization!
We are also proud to partner with the Princeton University Pace Center, which is the main hub for studet-led civic engagement on campus.
